Strauss Model Grand
Named after Johann Strauss, the "Waltz King"
This model, still produced today, is inspired by the instrument on which the great master wrote his well loved waltz compositions.
This Rebuild was performed in Vienna by a Bosendorfer Master Craftsman of 40 years experience.
New veneers, legs, lyra, music rack, dampers, hammers, keys and action.
The original sounding board was retained, as in the Bosendorfer tradition.
Pyramid Mahogany - from controlled licensed forests in West Africa, this is a remarkable and decorative wood with a pyramid grain from the specialty cut. Well known for its change over time to the warm mahogany tone with a golden shimmer.
Handcrafting has been a well known Bosendorfer tradition for over 180 years.
